Surprisingly, Ron Paul has attracted a lot of the youth vote during this primary season, but I can’t help but wonder why? Sure he has some interesting ideas, but WTF? people, do we just erase his past because it’s convenient for us to do so now?
The latest to come to the aid of the Ron Paul Revolution is Calvin Broadus aka Snoop Dogg or Snoop Doggy Dog, whichever you remember him by. While Snoop Dogg is not known for Politics, He has jumped into the 2012 fray, merely because Ron Paul supports the legalization of marijuana, simple as that. Being a fan of Snoop’s, I almost understand the reasoning, but not quite……..
But let’s not forget Ron Paul wants to roll back the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and wants to make America a land seemingly for only Rich,White Gun Owners and Property Owners. Let’s not forget his allegiance to the John Birch Society and other nefarious supremacist organizations. I don’t see how any African American could support, much less endorse Ron Paul, with a straight face, just knowing these tidbits of information. In fact, when you dig deeper on Dr. Paul, it gets much worse, not better.
Ron Paul, after a few unsuccessful Presidential runs…. we know this guy, the question is, why are so many people ignoring what we already know? Are we really that desperate for change at any cost?
Snoop Dogg — the undisputed voice of the people — has voiced his support for a GOP candidate. On Sunday, the rapper and actor posted an image of Ron Paul to Facebook, accompanied by the gentle suggestion to “Smoke Weed Everyday.” Snoop captioned the image with a simple “because I said so.” “He’s always high,” responded one commenter. “That’s why he makes so much sense.” “Substance,” replied another. “What Ron Paul speaks and Snoop Dog smokes!!! Ron Paul/Snoop Dog in 2012!”
Live TV is never an easy thing especially when the pranksters have it in them to get you…. This is probably the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time.

The true hazards of running live broadcasts including viewer participation were on full display this week, with multiple calls into C-SPAN leading to awkward questions about GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney‘s penis.
All of the calls came during episodes of C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal,” a long-running program that prides itself on encouraging viewers from across the political spectrum to call in and voice their opinions.
In the first segment, a man calls in to ask Judd Gregg, a Mitt Romney surrogate and former New Hampshire governor and senator, about how big of a lead Romney will need to secure the nomination. He then throws a curveball, asking Gregg about the size of Romney’s penis. C-SPAN quickly cuts the caller off, and apologizes to Gregg.
James O’Keefe‘s newest “Acorn Style” sting operation has backfired! The Right-Wing Extremist so-called filmmaker in an attempt to feature reasons why Voter ID laws should be upheld, and to demonstrate voter fraud, has himself, committed multiple felony offenses during this undercover operation, and is now being investigated by New Hampshire’sAttorney General. Maybe James O’Keefe should consider that it’s not so much that it voter fraud in America, but just a charming young white male nefarious filmmaker who is skilled at lying, that is able to dissuade so many people.
UPDATE: TPM Muckraker digs deeper and finds new details to this story…
That’s the home University of New Hampshire graduate Robert W. Beaulieu, pictured above, shares with his parents. Robert P. Beaulieu, unrelated, died a few months back at the age of 84, and is apparently the man Project Vertitas’ investigator intended to impersonate. By all appearances, they got the wrong guy.
“I found out they were actually talking about me and not the man who passed away in October,” Robert W. Beaulieu told TPM. “The funny thing is, if they’d done any research, they would have found out the guy’s middle name is Paul and the guy specifically goes looking for William.”
“There’s four of us, everyone is alive,” joked Beaulieu’s brother Timothy William Beaulieu, who first noticed that his brother’s name and address being used by a man with an Irish accent during a segment on Current TV this week.
“If Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney are on the (Republican) ticket, I think we deserve four more years of Barack Obama,” Waterloo, Iowa, resident Paul Smith told The UpTake during Caucus night. Smith, who says he’s been a conservative ever since voting for Jimmy Carter in 1976, supported Rick Santorum on Tuesday night. He takes offense to wealthy elitists like Romney coming into Iowa and donning blue jeans and a flannel shirt to pretend he’s a farmer. “He’s not me, he’ll never be me, he doesn’t want to be me,” said Smith. “I don’t want to be him, and I’m tired of him.” If Mitt Romney ultimately wins the Republican nomination, as the former Massachusetts governor is expected to, Smith will consider voting to re-elect Obama, or he’ll vote for a third-party candidate. “You’ve got to be a registered voter to make a contribution and if you’re not a registered voter, get out!” added Smith, who wants to see corporate money out of political elections. “Corporations need to get back to their jobs of doing business and quit buying elections. We all know that if I make million dollar contribution to your campaign, I do so because I expect something in return.” “That’s the part of politics that really has to change.”
There’s one easy way to explain Rick Santorum‘s crazy rhetoric on health care — he took $3 million from the health care industry when he was in the Senate.
This table lists the top donors to this candidate in the 1989 – 2012 election cycle. The organizations themselves did not donate, rather the money came from the organizations’ PACs, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals’ immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates.
